Lila's School Birthday and Misc.

Here are some pics from her Birthday at Giving Tree. On their special day, they get to dress a bear in the outfit they choose, be a princess, and other special things. Right now, 66.6% of the girls have a barking cough and the other 33% is sounding bad. Haley has been on Albuterol, which makes her totally goofy. Everyone is mad at mommy because after Bible Study this morning, we were going to go to the park with some of our homeschool friends. The girls came into my room this morning and Lila was barking up a storm, and I asked if she was sick. She said yes, and Alex (who had already made all of our sandwiches for lunch) said "Now Lila, why'd you have to go and tell her that?!!!" So I am surrounded by broken-hearted sicko's this morning. Praising God for my coffee!

Crown Center

Every Friday after Thanksgiving we go to Crown Center with Papa and Nana Ketchum to see the Mayor's Christmas tree lighting. We look forward to it every year! We go eat lunch at A Streetcar Named Desire, admire all the pretty Christmas trees and awesome train set at Union Station, and run through Crayola Land (which Alex named the Promised Land when she was two). We couldn't hit that this time because of the crazy long lines, and we missed the tree lighting, because our Lila was sick, but it was still fun. We are going to be going back in a couple weeks with our home school group, so we should be able to do Crayola Land then. Our parents came back to our house and we watched the Polar Express on Vince's new TV. It was so much fun! I had to put a pic of Vince putting lip gloss on his little Jewel. He is such a good daddy to his girls!

Haley's Window

Last Sunday, Haley and Alex were were dancing at Nana and Papa Avila's and Haley's tooth got snagged on Alex's jacket, so Haley just grabbed her tooth and yanked on it and out it came! I think she got 2 bucks in quarters from the tooth fairy. It is a HUGE window! Since the girls have been sick for the past two weeks, we have been unable to go and do gymanstics at the rec center. SO we have been busy doing gymnastics here at home. Haley and Lila are finally better, but now Alex has it! I am so ready for Spring and Summer! So today is a sick day and we took advantage of a snow day on Wed. Haley is doing very well at reading and Alex and I have been busy reading Prince Caspian. It is very good and can't wait to take her to see the movie! Vince and I are attending a fundraiser for the Pregnancy Care Center tonight!
